Arlington Heights Butcher Shop Shutting Down
The business will close this weekend after five years on Mass. Ave.
ARLINGTON, MA — An independent butcher shop in Arlington Heights is set to close this weekend after a little over five years on Mass. Ave. Prime, Your Trusted Butcher is shutting down "no later than" Jan. 19, according to a post on the shop's website.
The decision came after "careful consideration of the long-term financial performance of the store," according to the post. The shop is selling products at a 20 percent discount until its closure.
Prime opened in late 2014 in the former location of The Meat House, with the owner opting instead to run an independent store, Boston Restaurant Talk reported.
