Arlington High Girls' Soccer Wins Division 2 North Title

The Spy Ponders are one win away from a state championship.

The third-seeded Arlington High girls’ soccer team defeated No. 9 Concord-Carlisle 2-0 Tuesday evening to take the Division 2 North title, according to Boston Herald sports correspondent Bruch Lerch on Twitter.

Megan Lo scored seven minutes into the game on a third-chance rebound, and Insa Mannstadt added the second goal two minutes into the second half from 15-20 yards out, Lerch reported. The game was at Chelmsford High School.

Arlington (18-1-2) advances to face South champ, undefeated Hingham (18-0-4) for the Division 2 state title – the game is scheduled for 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at Marshfield High School. No. 1 Hingham defeated No. 2 Scituate 5-1 Tuesday.
