Arlington High School to Host A CATpella Festival in Honor of Late Arlington Teen

The show boasts six a capella groups from around the region to raise funds in honor of Catherine Malatesta.

ARLINGTON, MA — The legacy of 16-year-old Catherine Malatesta continues to live on in Arlington, and that legacy will continue on Jan. 20 when the area comes together for a benefit event in honor of the late Arlington teen. The A CATpella Festival to Belt Out Cancer will feature six a capella groups from around the region to benefit the Sarcoma Foundation of America, to raise funds for the Catherine J. Malatesta Scholarship Fund and to pay tribute to Catherine.

The event will be held Friday, Jan. 20 in the Lowe Auditorium at Arlington High School, and tickets are $15 per person general admission. Broadway actress and singer Alexandra Socha will serve as the event's Master of Ceremonies.
