Arlington High School Redesigning 'A' Logo
The school district is asking the public to vote on a new design ahead of the upcoming school year.
ARLINGTON, MA — The Arlington High School logo is getting an update, and the public will get to vote on a new "A" design. Over the years, the school has used different variations of the A – old English, block and recently an A resembling the Alabama logo.
"It's time for us to have a consistent A for many different reasons and we would like an A that is unique to Arlington High School and our community," according to Principal Matthew Janger.
The contest is down to its three finalists. The selection will not replace or exclude other existing symbols, but rather create an official A to display "with pride and confidence," Janger wrote.
