Arlington Hiring Contractors For Snow Plowing, Removal Services

ARLINGTON, MA — The Town of Arlington Department of Public Works is in the process of hiring contractors for snow plowing & snow removal services for the upcoming 2022-2023 winter season.

The Arlington DPW has new and increased rates for contractors, as well as an early sign on per hour bonus.

The town is currently hiring:

• 3⁄4 and 1 ton pick-ups and dumps minimum 8’ plow blade
• 6 and 10 wheel 32 GVW trucks minimum 10’plow
• 6 wheel dumps with 10’ plow and 5-7 yard sander
• Front end loaders minimum 12’ plow
• Backhoes with 10’ plow

For hauling, the town hires:

• 6,wheel, 10 wheel, and tri-axle dumps
• Front end loaders with minimum 3-yard bucket
