Arlington Man Charged With 3rd OUI

The 32-year-old was arrested after hitting a parked car on Dow Avenue Friday evening.

ARLINGTON, MA – An Arlington man faces his third drunken driving charge following a crash on Dow Avenue Friday evening. Officers arrived around 6:30 p.m. and found two cars facing opposite directions with damage to their front passenger sides, according to the police report.

One of the cars was unoccupied; the other had been driven by 32-year-old Nevin Guarino, police said. Guarino was standing in front of his car and told officers he hit a parked car while looking at his phone, according to police.

Guarino said he had been at a bar in Chelmsford with a friend and was on his way home. He told officers he had "about four beers" and had slurred speech, bloodshot and glassy eyes and smelled like alcohol, according to the police report.
