Arlington Pediatric Nurse Faces Child Porn Charge
Authorities say the 61-year-old had a thumb drive with pictures of young girls.
ARLINGTON, MA — A pediatric nurse from Arlington was arraigned in Cambridge District Court Wednesday on one count of possession of child pornography. Peter Sahagian, 61, had a thumb drive that contained multiple images depicting child pornography, according to the Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan.
On May 16, authorities went to Sahagian's home to investigate a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that he had downloaded a child porn image using the search image Bing, the DA's office said.
Investigators found a thumb drive believed to be Sahagian's that had multiple pornographic images of female minors, according to the DA. Sahagian is a licensed practical nurse in the pediatric unit at Cambridge Hospital, the DA's office said.
