Arlington Pizza Restaurant Set for July Opening

ARLINGTON, MA—OTTO Pizzeria, which is set to open in East Arlington, is eyeing a mid-July opening, OTTO spokesman Eric Shepherd confirmed with Patch.

Shepherd, stated that the restaurant is set to open between July 11 and 18. At the March 21 Board of Selectman's meeting, owner Anthony Allen stated that he hoped for the business to be open in May.

The restaurant will open between July 11-18 given all necessary permitting and sign-offs, according to Shepherd.

"We were indeed shooting for a spring opening, but the buildout took longer than anticipated," Shepherd wrote to Patch.

The selectmen approved the Portland, ME-based OTTO pizzeria for a common victualler license during their March 21 meeting. The restaurant will be located at 202 Massachusetts Avenue, the former location of Comella's Pizzeria.

Shepherd also told Patch that OTTO has added seven new signature pies; as well as salads, appetizers and a kids pizza to the menu which will be available in Arlington.
