Arlington Police: Child Fundraiser Is Email Scam
Police say an email asking for donations for a young child is not from the town.
ARLINGTON, MA – A new scam in Arlington is asking for donations for a young child, according to police. The email has the town seal on it but is not from local officials.
Police ask residents to disregard the email and not donate. A photo of the message is below, via the town of Arlington Twitter page:
