Arlington Police Offering RAD Self-Defense Classes
The free Rape Aggression Defense course will be held in May and June.

ARLINGTON, MA – The Arlington Police Department will hold a free Rape Aggression Defense course in May and June. The RAD system teaches methods of self-defense through lecture, discussion and hands-on self-defense techniques.
The course is women-only and is limited to 16 participants. It will be taught by nationally certified instructors on the second floor of the Arlington Police Department, 112 Mystic St. Pre-registration is required.
Classes will take place May 31 and June 7, 14 and 21. Participants must be able to attend all four classes in order to complete the course.
