Arlington Police Save Ducklings From Sewer

Officers reunited nearly a dozen baby ducks with their mother Sunday.

ARLINGTON, MA – Arlington police officers rescued 11 ducklings from a sewer drain Sunday morning. A woman and her children stopped by the station to let police know the ducks needed help.

They had fallen into the drain on the corner of Mystic and Russell streets around 10:30 a.m., Sgt. Gregory Flavin told the Boston Globe.

Officers Guanci and Hogan and Sgt. Fennelly saved the baby ducks and reunited them with their mother.
