Arlington Police Warn Of Phone Scam
The scammers are identifying themselves as town employees.

ARLINGTON, MA – Arlington police are warning of a recent phone scam targeting residents. The callers identify themselves as town employees and tell residents their tax payment is late, according to police. The callers also threaten residents with arrest if they do not pay.
The calls are coming up as a local number with a local address, police said. Anyone who receives this call is asked not to provide personal information and notify the Arlington Police Department.
