Arlington Restaurant 2-Alarm Fire: Mass. Ave. Now Open
Firefighters responded to a multi-alarm fire at a Chinese restaurant Friday afternoon.
ARLINGTON, MA — A two-alarm fire at a Chinese food restaurant in Arlington has been knocked down, according to police. The fire broke out at Shanghai Village on Massachusetts Avenue, shutting down the road in both directions between Franklin and Pleasant streets.
Mass. Ave. has since reopened. No injuries have been reported.
The Cambridge Fire Department assisted in coverage while Arlington responders tended to the restaurant.
