Arlington School Registration Begins

It is our pleasure to welcome new families to the Arlington Public Schools. Again this year, Arlington Public Schools is offering both on-line and in-person school registration for new students, for all schools and all grades. If a child was born on or before August 31st, 2012, they are eligible to enroll in school.

On-line registration for the 2017-18 school year, including for Kindergarten, will be available starting Saturday March 11, 2017 on the Arlington Public Schools website home page at http://www.arlington.k12.ma.us. Parents and guardians will be directed to complete the On-Line Registration Form and upload supporting documentation. The required document checklist is included in the on-line registration form, and also separately on the district website.

Upon completing the on-line registration packet and uploading all necessary documents, parents/guardians will receive an email confirming that their registration packet has been received.

In-person Registration Nights, including for Kindergarten, will be held at Central Registration located at Arlington High School, 869 Massachusetts Avenue, from 4:30-6:00 p.m. on the following days:

 Monday, March 13, and

 Wednesday, March 15

Families may choose the most convenient date.

During these in-person sessions, families will be able to register their child(ren) with the assistance of district staff. Families should bring all required documentation to the Registration Night.

For families living in buffer zones, the school district will prioritize buffer zone school requests if parents/guardians submit applications for registration, including buffer zone school preference, on or before March 13, 2017, by 11:59 pm.
