Arlington schools will be closed Tuesday in anticipation of a major storm expected to dump 12-18 inches across the region.
A snow emergency parking ban will be in effect Tuesday at 9 a.m. until further notice, the Town of Arlington said. Parking will be allowed in municipal lots during the ban.
There will also be a one-day delay of collection the rest of the week, with Friday's collection taking place Saturday.
