Arlington Superintendent Announces Interim Ottoson Principal
Former Ottoson Principal Tim Ruggere announced his departure from Arlington's Ottoson Middle School on July 5.

ARLINGTON, MA—Less than one week after it was announced that Ottoson Middle School principal Timothy Ruggere would be leaving the school, Superintendent Kathleen Bodie has named an interim principal for the upcoming school year.
In an email sent to Ottoson parents Monday, Bodie named Dr. Eileen Driscoll Woods as Ottoson's interim principal. On July 5, Ruggere indicated that he had accepted the principal position at Byfield's Triton Regional High School, and would begin his duties on July 11.
“It is a pleasure to welcome again such a talented leader to the Arlington Public Schools,” said Bodie in a statement. “I look forward to working with her during the 2016-2017 school year as we search for a permanent principal for Ottoson Middle School.”
