Arlington Town Day 2018 Guide
Here's what you need to know about Friday's fireworks display and Saturday's festival.

ARLINGTON, MA – The annual Arlington Town Day continues this year, with an assist from the Arlington Elks Lodge to extend it to two days. Festivities begin Friday night with a fireworks display at the Spy Pond Field and Park at 7:45 p.m.
Ahead of the fireworks, roads leading to the park will be closed at 6 p.m. The Elks Club at 56 Pond Ln. will be hosting activities for children and families starting at 4:30 p.m., including carnival games, food and drink in the main hall and live band Reckless on the patio. The band goes on at 5:30 p.m.
Town Day will take place along Massachusetts Avenue between Pleasant Street and Jason Street on Saturday, Aug. 15 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. This area of Mass. Ave., as well as access from adjoining side streets, will be closed. The MBTA has rerouted its bus routes and traffic delays should be expected. Attendees are encouraged to walk to the event.
