Arlington To Unveil Final Bus Priority Pilot Design In September

See the design options presented at last week's meeting.

ARLINGTON, MA – Planning officials in Arlington last week presented the design options for the bus priority pilot, which is scheduled to begin in October. The proposed designs were developed in coordination with the city of Cambridge, the MBTA and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, with support from ITDP and Stantec.

The pilot will occur on Massachusetts Avenue from Lake Street to Alewife Brook Parkway for eastbound bus routes 77, 79 and 350 from 6-9 a.m. The final design option will be announced in September.
