An Arlington resident was charged with drunken driving after crashing her car on Lombard Road, police said.

ARLINGTON, MA — An Arlington woman was charged with her second drunken driving offense after a single-car crash Friday, police said. Bridgett James, 40, was involved in a crash on Lombard Road, according to police.
Officers found James's car stopped in the road, with front end damage and fluid leaking, according to the police report. James told officers she was not injured.
Police said James's eyes were glassy and bloodshot, and there was a "strong" alcohol smell coming from her car when she gave officers her license and registration. James said she had not been drinking, nor was she on any medication that would impair her driving, according to police.
