Arlington Woman Hit By Car On New Year's Eve Dies: DA

ARLINGTON, MA — An Arlington woman hit by a car New Year's Eve has died, according to the Middlesex District Attorney's office. Ann DesRosiers, 81, was hit by a 2017 Ford Explorer at Chestnut Street and Chestnut Terrace around 6:50 a.m.

DesRosiers was taken to an area hospital, where she died Dec. 31, the DA's office said. The driver of the SUV, a 48-year-old Saugus man, stayed at the scene.

No charges have been filed in the collision.
