Assault On An Arlington Police Officer: Crime Logs
Police noted recent calls including a drug violation on Mass Ave, a theft on Medford and an assault on an officer this week.

ARLINGTON, MA — Between Monday and Wednesday police noted three incidents occurred in Arlington, including a drug violation on Mass Ave, a theft on Medford Street, and vandalism on Palmer Street. But they responded to many many calls.
All of the following is taken from the Arlington Police log, which is public but not detailed. They represent a portion of what kinds of calls the police respond to and are highlighted here for the public to see what types of calls the police respond to. Monday, June 19
Lost and Found: Police noted they found some sort of property on Mystic Street around 8:20 a.m.

Fight: Someone reported an assault on Warren Street at 10:42 a.m.
Rescue: Police noted they were called at 9:51 p.m. to rescue someone from the reservoir near Lowell Street.

Tuesday, June 20
Not so sunny: Police arrested one person on Sunnyside Avenue and charged them with assault and battery on a police officer at around 2:48 p.m.
Crashes: Police responded to three crashes they noted had no injuries involved, two on Mass Ave, and one on Sunset Road.
Park right: Police responded to six complaints about possible parking violations including on Brookdale, Florence, and Whittmore roads.
Wednesday, June 21
Injured: Close to 11 a.m. police responded to a report of an injured animal on North Union Street. That was the first of four similar calls reporting injured animals.
Larceny: Police wrote up a report at 11:35 a.m. in connection with a larceny for more than $250 on Medford Street.
Hit and Run: Police responded to the scene of what appeared to be a hit and run near the corner of Mystic and Mass Ave. just after 9 p.m.
Crashes: There were reports of four crashes without injuries.
Disturbance: And there was a report of a "disturbance" at the Bishop School around 10 p.m.
