That leaves Kerry Dunne, the district’s K-12 director of history and social sciences, Laura Chesson, the principal of Maynard High School, and Alexander Wyeth, an assistant superintendent in Norwood, as the possible options.

The district could also choose to name an interim assistant superintendent or re-open the search, as it has in recent searches for its and Stratton Elementary School principal.
