Bakery Moving Into Longtime Bagels By Us Space In Arlington

ARLINGTON, MA – The select board last week unanimously approved a license for a new bakery moving into the one-time home of Bagels by Us on Mass. Ave. Butternut Bakehouse could be here as soon as January, according to YourArlington.

The bakery will have seating for 14 people and serve salads, pastries, cakes, cookies, coffee, tea and juice, YourArlington reported.

Bagels by Us closed in March after 22 years. A marijuana dispensary was briefly considered for the space but ultimately opened on Water Street late last month.

The address for Butternut Bakehouse is 789 Massachusetts Ave.
