Belligerent Biker, Wanted Woman, And Armed Man: Arlington Arrest Logs
A sample of the arrests that happened in just the past two days in Arlington.

ARLINGTON, MA — The past two days, Arlington Police arrested three people, a man who jumped out of a window and into a dumpster after allegedly breaking and entering a home, a drunk woman whom police came to find out had two warrants out for her arrest and an allegedly belligerent biker. An arrest does not mean there will be a conviction. But here they are, from the Arlington Arrest Logs.
Another bicyclist arrested after she ignores officer: Around 7 p.m. a police officer saw a woman riding her bike down the Minuteman Bike path. She rode right past the stop sign at Lake Street without stopping. The officer that was patrolling that intersection stepped out and told the woman to stop, but the she allegedly made eye contact and kept going. The police officer told her again to stop and pull over as she rode away. But the cyclist again ignored him.
The officer tried hopping on his bike and riding up next to the woman. He tapped her on the shoulder and told her to pull over, but this third attempt also failed, according to the police report.

The police report said because the bicyclist created an unsafe condition for bike path users the officer rode his bike up in front of her, and cut her off, forcing her to stop.
Once he had her attention, the officer asked the cyclist if she didn't hear or see him attempting to stop her. But apparently that wasn't the problem. She told him she did hear and see him but she doesn't think it was right that the police stop bicyclists. She told him police should stop cars, not bicyclists, according to the police report.

Drunk Lady on the porch arrested: Police arrested Amanda L. Mansfield, 44, of Arlington, on a Fugitive from Justice Court Warrant at a home on Bonad Road. Someone called to report a drunk woman on the rear porch at Lockland Avenue. When police arrived, witnesses told them she'd headed down Highland Ave. While police were searching the area a resident told them a white, drunk woman that she didn't know just rang her doorbell and told her she was looking for Bonad Road where her friend lived, and then left headed toward Highland Road. The woman told police the drunk lady left a tote back, with checks issued to someone named Amanda Mansfield.
Police went to the Bonad Road address and a man drove up with a woman. Police said she recognized her bag and told police she was staying with a friend at this address, but didn't have a key and wasn't able to get in. Police noted she appeared pretty drunk. That's when police ran a check and dispatch told police she had two warrants out for her arrest, one from Mansfield and another from Lowell.
Burglary Suspect Jumps Out Of 2nd Story Window, Into Dumpster: Early Sunday morning an Arlington Police Officer was making a routine building check on Fairmont Street for a resident who had asked police to check up on their home while they were away when he noticed something wasn't quite right. He noticed a bicycle near the sliding glass door and knew from previous checks of the home that there had been no bike there earlier. He took his flashlight and shined it inside and something moved. According to homeowners, no one was supposed to be there, and it was just after 2 a.m.
