ARLINGTON, MA — The following is a sample of the types of calls the Arlington Police received over the weekend. Just because someone reported an incident a certain way doesn't mean that's the way it actually panned out.

Friday, Jan. 26

Death: Police responded to a call about a death on Winslow Street at 4:30 p.m.

Something strange in the neighborhood: Someone called police about a suspicious condition on Wollastan Avenue at 4:53 p.m.

Missing: Police responded to three reports of missing people from Hillside Avenue between 11:25 p.m. and 11: 53 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 27

Break in: An Appleton Street resident called to report a break in at their home. They told police a thief stole something worth more than $250.

Stolen: Someone reported something stolen on Winter Street at 1:20 p.m.

Vandal: Police responded to a report of destruction of property on the 1500 block of Mass Ave. at 11:29 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 28

Aw, come on: Someone called police to report a hit and run on River Street at 10:45 a.m.

Whoops: Someone reported the traffic signal at Alewife Brook Parkway and Broadway wasn't working at 2:05 p.m.

Fire? Police responded to a report of a fire on Brand Street at 4:57 p.m.
