Brian Meringer named Ottoson Middle School Principal
Dover-Sherborn Assistant Headmaster will take over the reins at Ottoson Middle School on July 1.
The School Department announced today that Brian Meringer, a Massachusetts native and Belmont resident has accepted the position of Principal at Ottoson Middle School. Mr. Meringer's appointments follows an extensive search process. Eileen Woods has served as Interim Principal at the middle school for two years.
Principal Meringer will oversee the transition of Ottoson from a 6, 7, 8 school to just grades 7 and 8. The Gibbs School renovations are expected to be complete and ready to welcome Arlington's sixth graders in September 2018.
