Join the Cyrus Dallin Art Museum on Thursday, July 23, at 6 pm, for a one-hour guided walking tour of Arlington Center’s unique sculptures and architecture. This tour is sponsored by the museum and led by trustee Susan Gilbert.
The tour starts in front of the Dallin Art Museum at 611 Mass. Ave. in Arlington center, at the corner of Mass Ave and Mystic St. Metered parking is available in the lot behind the building off Mystic St. Before or after your tour, you can then take time to explore Arlington’s vibrant dining scene!
Sights You’ll See
Learn the fascinating stories behind the public art, historic buildings, and Revolutionary period commemorative sites in Arlington center. Highlights include the Paul Revere statue, Menotomy Hunter, and Robbins Memorial Flagstaff by artist/sculptor Cyrus Dallin, as well as the Uncle Sam Memorial Statue, Soldiers and Sailors Monument, and the art deco Arlington Co-operative Bank.
You will also experience Arlington250 commemorative sites such as Riding Through History, a public art installation showcasing two life-sized painted horses: the Samuel Whittemore Memorial (America’s legendary folk hero), the Old Men of Menotomy wagon capture site, and more!

Dallin Art Museum
The Dallin Art Museum is a hallmark to artist, educator, Indigenous rights advocate, and former Arlington resident, Cyrus Dallin. It contains the largest collection of Dallin’s art in the world, and is typically open for visits on Saturdays and Sundays, 12 to 4 pm.
Located on the ancestral land of the Massachusett Tribe, the museum pays its respects to their descendants who still inhabit this land today.
