Show and Tell: Blocks, Plates, Screens and Stones

Join us on Saturday 8/29 from 4-6 pm for Show and Tell: Blocks, Plates, Screens and Stones - a demonstration of printmaking techniques with Andrew Stearns of New Impressions Print Studio.

In conjunction with our current exhibition, Working Backwards, which highlights the work of fifteen printmakers, Andrew Stearns (one of the featured artists) will take us step-by-step through the process of creating a print. Printmaking is a highly technical process that can be tricky to understand; Stearns will demonstrate the tools and techniques that a printmaker employs to help us visualize the process.

A reception with refreshments will begin at 4, and the demonstration will start around 4:20 pm. Extremely limited seating is available, so please be prepared to stand for the duration of the event.
