The October Full Moon is named the Hunter’s Moon. The name reflects the time of year when deer were hunted to stockpile for the winter months. It will bring with it themes of preparation, clarity and discernment. It asks what must be secured, and what must be released. This moon will be in Taurus and is an earth sign that is associated with the physical world. The energy around the moon in this sign will be around, stability, resources, comfort, values, and what we need to do to secure these before the colder months.
