Arlington, MA —Capitol Square’s annual “Romancing the Square” event celebrates the spirit of Valentine’s Day with free activities on Saturday, February 13, from 4 to 6pm, throughout East Arlington’s vibrant business district. Enjoy chocolates, art happenings and exhibits, store sales, live music, and refreshments to help you get in the mood for romance. This event is free and open to adults and teenagers, and there will be interactive art activities for all ages.
The event kicks off during the week with an old-fashioned Valentine making extravaganza, held at Artbeat Monday through Friday. “Hearts On Fire”, a community art show, is also showing in Artbeat’s Upper Walls Gallery, featuring photos, poetry, drawings, and mixed media pieces submitted by local adult and child artists. Guests will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites on Saturday.
