Date Set for New Thompson School Official Opening
The district is holding an opening ceremony after classes begin.
Students will take over the new Thompson School on Tuesday, Sept. 3 (kindergartners on Monday, Sept. 9), but the school will officially open at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new $20 million school has been under construction for two years. During this time, Thompson students have attended either Hardy or Stratton.
