ARLINGTON, MA—Edward N. Friedman, a music lover, photographer and friend, of Arlington MA died in a pedestrian traffic encounter on July 7.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Vreeland of Arlington MA; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Bob Otto, of Pittsburgh, PA; sister-in-law and family Amy Vreeland, Hamid Tabatabaie, and Ethan and Sophia Morgan of Waban; other extended family members, and many long-time friends.

He is predeceased by his parents, Morris and Evalyne Friedman of Pittsburgh PA, and brother-in-law, Chris Vreeland, of Waltham. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to More Than Words.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St. (adjacent to Saint Agnes’ Church) Rte. 60, in Arlington on Saturday July 16th at 1 p.m. Visitation prior to the service will take place from 11:30 a.m -1 p.m.
