
Jim Thompson, president of the Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts and a Certified Financial Planner will discuss tips and tricks to help you create a retirement that works for you. This third program in the PLUGGED iN @ THE ROBBiNS series, targeted to 50+ adults, is made possible by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. Thompson will discuss: the building blocks of a retirement plan; decisions you must make to move ahead; the importance of cash flow; Social Security and Medicare basics and using financial planners versus doing it yourself. Doors will open at 6:30pm for networking. The program will begin at 7:00pm.
