This six-week course will use as its model the basic Arrighi script, which has been used, with minor changes for several hundred years. Based on Roman italic alphabet, one learns basic strokes, combining these strokes to form letters and then to form words, with a sense of spacing and style variations. The felt tip pen will be used first, and then the steel pen to create complete works.
