A heart-warming valentine to the world of theatre. A naive young man aspires to be an actor, while his family aspires for him to be a pharmacist. When by chance he gets a two-bit part in a rundown theatre with a has-been director, comedy ensues. Funny, touching, romantic with a big dollop of Jewish humor.
