February Arts Camp - "Thinking Hot when it's Not"

The Arlington Center for the Arts is offering a week-long arts camp experience for grades K-9 during February Vacation, Feb. 20-24.

Kids in grades K-5 will experience a mix of art, music, movement and drama, all revolving around the theme "Thinking HOT when it's Not."  Even though this has been a mild winter, we'll start looking to the warmer days ahead, using the sun, tropical climates, and the New England summer as our inspiration for art projects, songs, music, movement and skits about the summer!

Older kids and young teens in grades 6-9 participate in the Counselor in Training program, splitting their days helping out in the classroom with the younger kids, creating their own art projects, and working on collaborative group projects, and take a special field trip as a group during the middle of the week.

Camp hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-3:30pm, with extended day available from 8:00am to 6:00pm.  Camp tuition is $300/week for members of the ACA, and $320 for nonmembers.  Limited scholarships are available to qualifying families.

More information about ACA's camps in February, April and Summer sessions is available at www.acarts.org.  For more info, call (781) 648-6220.
