Celebrating over 90 years of excellence in fashion education, The School of Fashion Design is the only educational institution in New England dedicated exclusively to the study of fashion design. SFD provides students with a solid foundation in apparel design and construction, and the skills required for a successful career in fashion. Our technical Certificate program is taught by experts in the field of fashion design. Students may take courses toward the Certificate or on a class-by-class basis to fill professional education interests. For creatives and textile arts enthusiasts, SFD offers workshops in various fiber arts such as weaving, lace making, embroidery, millinery, upcycling, and more. As an SFD student, you will join a diverse community of emerging designers. Our studios are filled with recent high school graduates, students from nearby colleges enriching their education with fashion, and working professionals embarking on a new career path. SFD faculty and students are active partners in our local community, collaborating regularly with organizations and businesses through internships, exhibitions, field trips, and special events. Our reputation for excellence is on display each time our students show their work at fashion shows and exhibits throughout the year. With an SFD Certificate in Fashion Design, our alumni have enjoyed fashion careers with Adidas, Coldwater Creek, J. <h4>Don’t miss STEM Fest at Camp Cedar Hill on May 2, a hands-on STEM takeover where Girl Scouts can explore interactive challenges, meet real STEM professionals, and choose their own adventure across exciting science and technology experiences.&nbsp;</h4>It’s a STEM takeover at camp! Explore fun hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math challenges throughout Camp Cedar Hill from local program partners. Participants will use a map to choose their adventure and which topics to explore. Meet and chat with STEM professionals while digging deeper into topics you love or discovering new ones you may not have known about!
STEM Fest is the premier STEM event of the year at Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts. This event is open to ALL Girl Scout levels with activities and experiments created for different ages.&nbsp;
The event fee includes a collectible fun patch and STEM-themed giveaways. Check back regularly for an updated list of partners and activities!
Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts require volunteer supervision, while Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors have a drop-off option for this event.

Music MAYnia is a free community festival that features continuous live performances, instrument demos, games, arts &amp; crafts, food trucks, and more! Student performers of all ages and abilities will perform a music marathon on four stages, indoors and outdoors, ranging from classical to rock.
