The fascinating musical about Edith and Edie Bouvier Beale, cousins of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, who in the 1940's were bright stars on the New York social register. The first act takes plalce in their heyday, the second takes place 30 years later, as these remarkable women are now destitute, and yet cling to their mother-daughter relationship, to their right to an eccentric lifestyle, and to their beloved, but now dilapidated mansion, Grey Gardens. Tickets now on sale at www.afdtheatre.org $25. AFD Theatre is wheelchair accessible and has assistive listening devices.
There are also Sunday performances; refer to website for full details.
