The Arlington Family Connection (AFC) is sponsoring a performance of The Dragon King by The Tanglewood Marionettes (www.tanglewoodmarionettes.com) on January 15th at the Regent Theatre. The story is an underwater fantasy based on a Chinese folktale about a wise Grandmother who ventures to the bottom of the sea in search of the Dragon King. At the start of the story, the Dragon King has forsaken the land above and allowed a terrible drought to persist. Filled with colorful creatures, bravery, kindness and friendship, Tanglewood Marionette’s production of The Dragon King is a heart-warming tale that will thrill young and old alike. We have specifically chosen a story that is appropriate for toddlers on up.
