Created by Carol Campbell | Directed by Amy West | Co-Produced by Danielle Hanson & Gail Erdos to benefit Our Space, Inc.
The Goddess Diaries began as an experiment. Several women were asked to write about a specific milestone in their life as part of a Winter Solstice performance at a local church. Borrowing from the Western European agricultural wheel of the year, each monologue represents a time in the growing/harvest season; likewise, each season is a metaphor for each woman’s life event. From a seventeen-year-old’s first gynecological exam to a sixty-six-year-old’s reflection on her divorce and a tween’s exuberance over the success of her first girl-boy party, the storytellers range in age from 11 to 66.
Our Space, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to embracing children and teens who have faced or are confronting cancer by inspiring peace, spirit, and healing within a supportive community, through play, learning, and creative exploration.
Join us for a magical evening filled with love & community and be prepared to be moved, touched & inspired.
