'Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera:' An Evening with Author Elizabeth Searle

Fresh from this summer’s sold-out performance at the New York Musical Festival, Elizabeth Searle, creator of Tonya & Nancy: The Rock Opera, will spend an evening discussing her novels and plays, and the national- even worldwide - media attention they have received. The rock opera is based on the infamous Tonya Harding/Nancy Kerrigan ice scandal that occurred after a practice during the 1994 U.S. Figure Skating Championship.

In conversation with David Whitford, editor-at-large of Inc magazine, we will hear why this event “haunted” Searle and how it led to the concept for this rock opera.
