Former Ottoson Principal Tim Ruggere announced his departure from Arlington's Ottoson Middle School on July 5.

ARLINGTON, MA—A former interim principal at Dallin elementary school has been appointed to the same position at Ottoson Middle School.

In an email sent to Ottoson parents Monday, Bodie named Dr. Eileen Driscoll Woods as Ottoson's interim principal. On July 5, Ruggere indicated that he had accepted the principal position at Byfield's Triton Regional High School, and would begin his duties on July 11.

“It is a pleasure to welcome again such a talented leader to the Arlington Public Schools,” said Bodie in a statement. “I look forward to working with her during the 2016-2017 school year as we search for a permanent principal for Ottoson Middle School.”
