The Massachusetts Restaurant Association Awards $100,000 in Scholarships to Up-and-Coming Culinary Students

WHAT: On Tuesday, June 14, 2016, The Massachusetts Restaurant Association (MRA) will host its annual MRAEF Making the Future Bright Scholarship Awards Gala. The gala will recognize Massachusetts students who are future stars of the hospitality industry and award them with $100,000 in well-deserved scholarships to further their education.
The Massachusetts Restaurant Association Education Foundation (MRAEF) will proudly present the 2016 Leadership Award, as well as the 2016 ProStart Educator of Excellence Award to hard-working, deserving recipients. The evening will be hosted by special guest Billy Costa, celebrity host of NESN’s “Dining Playbook” andKISS 108FM.
The MRAEF Scholarship Awards Gala will be held at Danversport Yacht Club located at 161 Elliot Street, Danvers, MA 01923. Registration begins at 6:00PM and dinner begins at 7:00PM. Tickets are $75.00 each and can be purchased here.
