Tryst Restaurant in Arlington Center offers all proceeds of a dessert to Bridge the Gap
Tryst Restaurant in Arlington Center will be donating all of the proceeds of their chocolate truffle crème brulee to the Bridge the Gap fund for Arlington schools.
In the past two weeks, the volunteers who run the fund have raised close to $90,000 in their quest to raise $1 million to help close the $4 million deficit in the budget.
Now Tryst in Arlington Center, a restaurant known for its "creative American cuisine" and involvement with the community, will donate every dollar spent on the $8 dessert (by those also eating dinner at the restaurant) to the fund.

"It is important to us to support the community," said owner and chef Paul Turano who has also donated gift certificates and time to the schools in the past.
The promotion will run through June 6 and all proceeds from the special dessert will be donated to The FY11 School Gap Fund.
