1.) The eighth-seeded Arlington High baseball team has a home playoff game at 4 p.m. today at Spy Pond Field. The Spy Ponders shutout No. 9 Gloucester 6-0 Thursday in the first round of the Division 2 North bracket and then got another home game when No. 17 Dracut, which went 6-14 during the regular season, upset top-seeded, undefeated Boston English 8-6 Saturday.
2.) The 11th-seeded Arlington High softball team lost 3-2 at No. Dracut Thursday in the first round of the Division 2 North bracket. The Spy Ponders finish the season 12-7.

3.) After an upset win in the preliminary round of the Division 2 East bracket, the 20th-seeded Arlington High boys’ lacrosse team met its match at No. 4 Wayland Friday, losing 18-2. The Spy Ponders end the season 11-9.
4.) The ninth-seeded Arlington High boys’ volleyball team lost 3-0 Saturday at No. 1 Lawrence in the quarterfinals of the Division 1 North bracket.

5.) After a first-round win in the Division 3 East bracket, the 18th-seeded Arlington Catholic boys’ lacrosse team will travel to No. 2 Austin Prep today for a 3 p.m. second-round game. The No. 5 Arlington Catholic softball team lost 14-0 Saturday to No. 14 Reading. The Cougars finish the season 16-6.
