ICYMI: Punjab in Arlington is Hiring in Preparation for Re-Opening

The popular Arlington Center restaurant has been closed since February, but its re-opening could be coming soon.

ARLINGTON, MA — Lovers of Indian Cuisine rejoice, Punjab in Arlington Center hopes to be re-opening by the end of the year. The popular Arlington Center eatery had been closed since February.

Punjab at Arlington Center owner Jaspal Pabla told Patch that the restaurant is gearing up for a re-opening, and hopes to be back in business by the end of the year. The eatery is working on hiring and training potential employees, and will set an open date once the new staff is on board.

Pabla could not speculate on an exact open date, but the restaurant posted on its Facebook page that it is hiring for all positions.

In February, Punjab abruptly closed due to a pipe that burst at the restaurant. A week later, the restaurant had announced plans to renovate its Massachusetts Ave. space, and has been closed since.
