Arlington Public Schools 2016 Winter Vacation Dates

2016 is coming to a close, and that means students will have some time away from school. Here are some important school dates to know.

ARLINGTON, MA — The kids probably can't wait, but you sure can. Here's some important school dates to know about going forward this winter.

According to the Arlington Public Schools Calendar, all elementary students will have a half-day on Dec. 20. Students will have school on Dec. 23, and will be off the entire week of Dec. 26.

New Year's Day is the following Sunday, so it is being observed on Monday, Jan. 2. Students return to school Tuesday, Jan. 3. Elementary schools will have an early release on Jan. 3

All in all, the students will be off starting on Dec. 24 and will return to school Jan. 3.

All school levels will be released on Jan. 10. Lunch will be served.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day will have students off on Monday, Jan. 16.

  • Dec. 24-Jan. 3
  • Jan. 16
