The event is taking place on Saturday, April 1, from 8:00pm – 11:00pm at the Sons of Italy at 19 Prentiss Road in Arlington. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Learn more and register to attend by visiting http://foolsforthe80s.eventbrite.com.

Kick off your Sunday shoes and get to know parents from all over Arlington while helping to raise funds for Peirce students. The event will feature DJ 5461 (a Thompson School parent), an 80s dress-up contest, a “prom night” photo booth and a raffle and silent auction with great local prizes.

The spread of party snacks will bring you back to long-ago parties in your friend’s rec room. A cash bar will also be available.

The planning committee is still accepting donations for the raffle so if you have any services, sports tickets or other great prizes to offer, please contact Julie Goff (jlg528@gmail.com) or Emily Almas (ezalmas@gmail.com.)

All of the proceeds raised this evening will benefit the children of Peirce School.

The Peirce School encompasses a diverse school population: students come from the Peirce district, from other Arlington districts through open enrollment, and from the Boston city schools through the METCO program. The mission of the school, which was built in 1924, is to provide a safe, nurturing and challenging school environment in which students strive for academic excellence. The faculty and staff, with the cooperation and support of parents, prepare students to be caring, responsible, and industrious citizens in a diverse, multicultural world.
