Lesley Ellis School to Move to New Arlington Location: Report

The Lesley Ellis School will be staying in Arlington on the heels of the School Committee's May 9 decision.

ARLINGTON, MA—The Lesley Ellis School is set to remain in Arlington, in light of the School Committee's decision to designate the Gibbs Building as a new town middle school.

According to a report by the Arlington Advocate, Schools for Children, Inc., which manages both the Dearborn Academy and the Lesley Ellis School, announced that the Ellis School would be moving to another Arlington location, and that the Dearborn Academy would be moving to a location in Newton. The report indicates that the Ellis School will move in to the former Crosby School on Winter St.
