"I love photographing all sorts of people, and capturing their special moments. There’s so much variety of human experience, and I love it — so much hopeful anticipation involved in engagement and maternity sessions, so much wonder with a newborn session, and amazement when I then get to go back and do a whole series of “baby’s first year” sessions and watch that baby learn and grow. Every family’s interactions are wonderfully individual, and each family session is likewise unique."
She told Patch that, regarding the award, she was "completely honored and pleased to have the support of her clients, friends, and family."
Though Mira Whiting Photography is a young business (it's only been around since November of 2014) it will now be known throughout the Boston area. It will also be known that Arlington is home to one of the area's leading portrait photographers.
